We’ve been helping the South Bay’s and San Pedro’s business avoid loss of business for over 60 years by being quick, reasonable, and capable.  Whether you’re running a business that serves the public or have a crew of longshoremen needing to get their job’s done, Pete Fer & Sons is your go to bet.

Because we’re located in San Pedro we do A LOT of commercial toilet repairs.  Often times, you could do it…but you’re busy.  If it’s simple, you get a reasonable rate and quick service.  If we discover something more complicated we’ll work with your team to find the best time and schedule to fix the problem.  We don’t want you losing business or employee productivity because of a broken, clogged, or backed-up toilet.

A toilet is one of the most used, and therefore problematic, parts of your home or building’s plumbing system. Our certified plumbing specialists have experience working with all brands and models of toilets and can help with repairs.

The Most Common Toilet Issues

After years of constant use, a toilet may no longer function as well as it once did. Here are some common issues that require toilet repair:

  • The toilet constantly runs, which signifies a problem with the chain or flapper.
  • The toilet clogs frequently. This could mean there could be low flow, a blocked trap, a clogged drain line, or hard water deposits.
  • The toilet is leaking. There may be a crack in the tank or bowl, a worn washer, or a rusty pipe.

If you notice a toilet is leaking excessively or overflowing, turn off the water to avoid further damage and complications, then contact us to help fix the issue. Usually you can find a toilet water shut off knob/valve near the wall where the threaded lines enter.  You’ll probably have a mess to clean up…but we’ll handle that.  It’s most likely that there is something further down the drain pipe causing slow or no water/debris evacuation.  But we also know that much of the San Pedro area is older construction.  We’ll be as diligent and careful as we can working with the older piping. If it looks like there is a bigger issues we will inform you ASAP so you have no surprises.

What Does Commercial Toilet Repair Mean For Your Business?

We have spent over 60 years providing services to the workers and businesses in San Pedro and the surrounding areas. So what does that mean for your business? How does it differ from what residential customers are looking for?

Commercial Plumbing Services:

  1. Scale and Complexity: Commercial plumbing systems are larger and more complex than residential ones, often involving multiple floors and extensive pipe networks. You can’t imagine the things we’ve seen.  Our crew can identify and work with whatever plumbing system you’ve got throughout your building.
  2. Usage and Durability: Due to heavier usage, commercial plumbing systems need to be more durable and capable of handling greater demands.  This might come into consideration as you grow or as your pipes age.  Maintenance and fixing any issue is should be considerate of your budget and plans.  Do you need to extend the life of your plumbing 6 months or 3 years?  We’ll work with you to make sure you don’t have us back out until you’re ready.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Businesses must adhere to strict plumbing codes and regulations, requiring plumbers to have specialized knowledge and experience. Let us handle the desk jockeys. We’ll get your project approved ASAP and as cheaply as possible.  You’ll save time dealing with confusing instructions that conflict and get back to work at full capacity when we handle the permitting and approval processes.
  4. Preventive Maintenance: Regular maintenance is crucial in commercial settings to prevent disruptions in business operations.
  5. Emergency Services: Commercial plumbers need to be available 24/7 to address urgent issues that could impact business continuity.

Residential Plumbing Services:

  1. Simplicity: Residential plumbing systems are typically simpler, with fewer fixtures and a straightforward layout.
  2. Personalized Service: Homeowners often require more personalized service, with plumbers addressing specific needs and preferences.
  3. Cost-Effectiveness: Residential plumbing services focus on providing cost-effective solutions for home repairs and installations.
  4. Preventive Measures: While maintenance is important, residential plumbing often involves more reactive services, addressing issues as they arise.
  5. Aesthetic Considerations: In homes, the appearance of plumbing fixtures and installations is more important, with a focus on design and style.

As you can see, we have it covered.  We get in, get the job done, and get your crew working again without any issues.
