If you want to keep your air conditioner from breaking in the first place, you need to start with a filter.

2. Clean it Thoroughly

Cleaning your air conditioner consistently is an important part of maintaining your unit, to the point where a good cleaning might be the only thing that’s needed to make the unit run again. If you want to make sure that you’re up to date on your HVAC maintenance, make sure that the unit is clean and doesn’t have any dirt, dust, or mold on the inside or outside of it. 3. Check the Breaker
